They exist. Many lumber centers also sell cabinets. The trick is making sure the dishwadher is in the right place for water and drain.

Normally they are just inserted into a space near the electrical and plumbing required ,Hot/Cold water and drain access. This might make stand alone quite difficult.

I am building a house and I am installing the radiant heating (you know, hot water tubes in the floor kind) on an elevated wooden floor, but it can be just as easily be installed on a concrete subfloor. The radiant heating tubing is laid out on the floor between furring strips (esentially spacers) that bring the level of the floor up and allow for the radiant heating plumbing between the furring strips. You just have to be careful when installing the hardwood flooring, making sure you don't nail into any of the plumbing.

The show "This Old House" has had several episodes where
they installed both radiant heat plumbing and a hardwood floor over a concrete subfloor.

The furring strips are secured to a concrete subfloor with concrete anchors. These anchors look like nails, but hardened and driven into the concrete with a driver that uses .22 caliber blanks. Sears carries this driver and the .22 blanks. You would have to go to Home Depot or Lowe's to get the concrete anchors.

Another consideration is to buy an air cleaner to cut down on airborne allergens in the room.

I use the microwave and there are so many advantages to it. It conserves vitamins and minerals in fresh veggies, as opposed to boiling or sauteeing.
What do you mean by frozen dinners? Do you mean the stuff from the store or food that you make and freeze? If you mean the former, it's not very healthy to begin with.

OK here is the trick....Do the vinegar thing (Heating the vinegar until it boils then wipe it down with the hot vinegar..Let it cool a bit of course)
***THEN dry the bottom and place some strong un-used coffee grounds in a coffee filter in the microwave and it will get rid of the smell (This also works in a refrigerator!)

The best way I've ever found to clean a microwave is with lemons. I use a lot of lemons in cooking, and just save the pieces after I've used the juice and put them (3 halves is good) in a small bowl of water in your microwave. Microwave it on high for 5 minutes and then just wipe it out.

Lemon oil is such an amazing cleaner and deodorizer, you can't beat it!

Heat a bowl of water with some vinegar to neutralize the odor. Or just clean with damp cloth and leave door open a while. Those odor absorbing products for refrigerator sold at grocery store might work

this is from a book "Clean" by Micheal de Jong. Zap away microwave stains: put 2-3 spoons of baking soda into one cup of water and microwave for 2 min. The steam from the boiling baking soda-infused water will soften even the hardest, greasiest, yuckiest, baked-on messes. Wipe Clean with cloth or papertowel. Also a quarter cup of vinegar in a cup of water works too. ----Just don't use any toxic non-food safe cleaners.

Elbow grease and a wet cloth... soak the stains for a bit and then rub it all clean with some fantastic. Also, they sell this cool little invention that's plastic that you can cover your plate with it so your food explodes onto it (which you can take out and clean daily). Best way to keep it clean is to not let it get so dirty in the first place! Have fun :-)

Put 2 cups water, 1/2 cup vinegar in a microwave safe dish- microwave about 4 or 5 minutes, until it starts to steam onto the walls. Leave the microwave closed for a few more minutes to make sure all the dried on food gets moist enough to wipe off. The vinegar in the water also helps get rid of unpleasant odors.

I HATE cleaning the microwave, so I've come up with the best way that involves the least amount of effort. Microwave a big bowl of water in it for about 5 minutes or so until it's nice and steamy. Leave it in there when it's finished for about 5-10 minutes so the steam has a chance to coat the whole inside of the microwave. Then, wipe off all the crud with a damp sponge. It will come off very easily. Repeat the whole process if there are some stubborn areas.

A mixture of 1 part bleach to 3 parts water. Spray and let set for a couple of minutes to loosen hardened debris. The bleach should brighten stains.

Put a bowl with water in it in the microwave and turn it on. The steam will help loosen the food. Then wipe it down with soap and water.

put a bowl of water with baking soda in it. Turn the microwave on and bring the water to a boil. Allow the bowl to stay in microwave for a while - 20 minutes or so and then wipe out the microwave.
